juno

Movie ticket.....$6.50

Lg Popcorn, Diet Coke & Peanut M&M's.....$14.75

Catching a movie in the middle of the afternoon.....PRICELESS

I finally had a chance the other day to see Juno. It came highly recommended times 2.
Ellen Page, who reminded me a little of Jeanine Garofalo, was awesome and she was so funny. Juno said what she thought and she told you how she felt. I just loved that she did not hold back. Don't you sometimes wish more people were more like that? Straight shooters. That does not mean that people have to be rude or anything, just not so fake. I think Juno had a kind of mature naivety about her. And honestly, at that age didn't we all have it figured out?
I was also pleasantly surprised to see Allison Janney. She is just hilarious.

Cute, cute movie that I would definately recommend as a MUST see!

Say Cheese

The boys LOVE to go have pizza and play games at Chuck E. Cheese!

Yesterday we were there for 2, that's right, 2 hours and they had a BLAST!

There is this new little machine that does this picture tracing and it is so cool. Had to get a picture with both of my babies. Only 1 token, I love it!

Now, I will admit the pizza is tasty and it is a good, safe, fun place for the kids to play, but you will NOT ever find us there on the weekend. Talk about CRAZINESS.

The Sound of Music

This might be hard for some to believe, especially the movie lover, but I have never seen The Sound of Music. (a picture here would be cool, but i haven't figured that out yet. ;-)).................
That is until today. It is cold and rainy out so I thought today would be a perfect movie watchin' day. I was looking for something that the boys and I could watch together, something that would keep their attention. There it was on the shelf......The Sound of Music.....So, the boys and I got all we needed to cuddle up and get started, our blankets, pillows, drinks and snacks. Michael, sitting on my left, is saying, "I don't like it" one minute and the next he is mesmerized by the singing. Jesse was too. Now, I will say that after about an hour, they needed a break so we pushed pause and did some jumping and running around for a bit. Okay, there were a couple of breaks, but each time we got a little farther, and finally finished up the movie. They loved it and so did I, even though it took most of the day. Even though I haven't seen it before, most of the music was familiar. My poor husband will now have to listen to me try to yoddle and sing as I try to impersonate Julie Andrews. And for those of you that have heard me sing a little Whitney, well you know just how painful that might be.
